Personal AI Backup
Terms of use
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These terms cover Personal AI Backup, the private backup app operated by the owner of vexiscape.com, and this informational website.
Private use and authorization
The app is intended for the owner’s personal backup workflow. It is not offered here as a public backup service. Use it only with the owner’s permission and with accounts and data you are authorized to access. Authorizing the app allows the Drive operations described in the privacy policy.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for selecting appropriate source data, complying with applicable laws and third-party terms, protecting Google credentials and repository keys, and monitoring backup results. Keep separate copies of important data and periodically test restoration. Do not upload another person’s data without the necessary permission.
Backup and recovery limits
The app uses restic to encrypt backups before storage in Google Drive. Successful recovery depends on usable backup data, valid repository credentials, compatible software, and access to storage. Encryption does not guarantee that backups are complete, available, or recoverable.
The app and website are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, a particular backup schedule, or successful recovery. The owner does not offer a service-level agreement. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Third-party services
Use of Google Drive, Google OAuth, Cloudflare, and restic remains subject to applicable third-party terms and licenses. References to these products describe the workflow and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or independent certification of this app.
Stopping use and changes
You may stop using the app and revoke its Google access at any time. Revocation does not delete existing backups; the privacy policy explains removal. The owner may change or discontinue the private workflow. Changes to these terms will appear on this page with an updated date.
